Beneath the steps of my childhood home, there was a large dusty trunk filled to the brim with photographs that had been collected over years of adventures and hand-me-downs. My family (my parents and 4 siblings) sought adventures in the mundane and my mother scrapbooked and creatively preserved most of our childhood. I'm so grateful for those captured memories, the stories saved, and the legacy of my family that lives within those photos. What a treat it is for me to pull out that trunk and flip through those photographs and scrapbooks and be able to cherish such sweet moments!
